Mr. Cress was a Founding principal and managing member of Prospectus, LLC, a full service real estate company where he specialized in the firm’s investment, development, construction, consulting and project analysis activities.
During his 35 year real estate career, Cress has managed the successful development of multiple commercial, retail, industrial, and residential real estate projects throughout New England. Responsibilities included overall management of assets including planning and permitting, tenant negotiation, construction and permanent loan placements, and environmental and legal from acquisition to tenant occupancy and disposition.
Mr. Cress has consulted with financial institutions to complete development projects for their portfolios and assisted these institutions in monitoring both development and construction projects for their clients. He has provided consulting services on design, construction, and construction financing issues on a variety of real estate portfolios, assisting in both development, construction monitoring, financing options, and tenanting of their projects.
Professional affiliations include designation as an American Arbitration Association arbitrator; former chairman of Elderly Housing Committee for the Town of Weston, MA. He serves on the Tufts University Buildings and Grounds Committee for all projects sponsored by Tufts University.
Mr. Cress is a graduate of Tufts University with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics. He is a licensed builder in the City of Boston (A,B, and C) and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
